Last year Biz Markie visited Dragon Moon Tattoo Studio, Inc. to get a tattoo from artist, Jacob Pinkney. The relationship blossomed into a friendship and resulted in tickets to Biz’s creation “Yo Gabba Gabba LIVE” at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore. Last year Jacob and his son, Caleb attended the show and this year, GraMick was invited to come along. On November 7, 2014 we drove to the LIVE show and witnessed hundreds of kids waiting with patient excitement for the show to begin.
“I’ve become a fan!” said GraMick; the message Biz brings to children is “we don’t bite our friends, we eat fruits and vegetables, we promise not to eat sugary snacks for at least 10 days and we spread happiness wherever we go!” Confetti and bubbles floated gently on the families as everyone got up to dance and wave their hands singing along with the characters as DJ Lance Rock led the dance moves. When Jacob asked Caleb “Who are we going to see tonight after the show?” Caleb took his “bink” from his mouth and said “Biz Markie and Yo Gabba Gabba!” Even a two year old knows cool when he sees it.
